[edit] Soul Slides
The oh-so-famous soul slides are the best 4-wheel inline skates I have ever tried and had. (mm. actually the only one i ever had too :-)... ). What i like with those is that they are so manoeuvrable (maneuverable for you american guys..). The only drawback is that you can't put wheels more than 72mm large. And those can't be found anymore on shops. It takes quite a while just to put them on, but it's definitely worth it. Oh.. and they look so cool, too.

Quite famous ones as well. The shoes (hard-stuff, kinda like ski shoes) are called Charles de gaulle. I use them to do slalom, the hard-shoes enables very precise control when doing (for exemple) speed-slalom. They are also the most useful kind to do..well, we call that tranches in French :)

Speed 5-wheel skates (flashy,no ? :), when you're too lame and dont want to be tired... Wheels are 80mm large and shoes are low-profile.

The old-fashioned ones. The best quad to do slides, and the most comfortable too. Those are the ones that make those stupid young guys laught at you when you wear them...

Skating is not all in life, ice-skating might be fun too.
